ENSF mourns ‘Grand Old man of Naga Politics’ Noke Wangnao

Tuensang: ENSF says ‘Papa Noke’ lived to the fullest with distinctive enigma

The Eastern Naga Students’ Federation (ENSF) has expressed its condolences to the loved ones of late Noke Wangnao Konyak, who passed away on Monday morning. Noke was the senior most legislator in Nagaland and was serving as the Advisor of Social Welfare at the time of his demise.

Expressing shock over the sudden death of the “Grand Old man of Naga Politics” from 43 Tapi Assembly constituency under Mon District, ENSF prayed that Noke’s legacy would continue “to bless our Eastern People and the Nagas as a Whole.”

ENSF also stated in its condolence message that the MLA who was previously the Advisor to the Chief Minister and was popularly known as Papa Noke, lived to the fullest with distinctive enigma and has left behind “a legacy of longevity in Eastern Naga socio-political epoch”. He was a towering political patriarch amongst our Eastern Political influential and a distinct acumen who shrewd his best gesture in motivating and edifying the cause of our Eastern brethren, the student body added.
