As part of the National Road Safety Month, 2024, the Ministry of Road and Transport & Highways (MoRTH) and the Department of Motor Vehicles will be organising a State Level Essay Writing competition on the topic “Addressing road safety in Nagaland”.

According to DIPR, the competition is open for all age groups and the essays are to be submitted to nrsanagaland@gmail.comntn. The last date of submission is February 7.

Each entry should be: (1). Not more than 2000 words and less than 1900 words. (2). Only original essay will be considered for the competition. (3). Submission must be in PDF format. Participants must include Name, address, e-mail id and contact number.

The prizes for the competition are:

1^st prize: Rs. 10,000

2^nd prize: Rs 6000

3^rd prize Rs. 3000

Consolation prize of Rs. 1000 each for the 4^th, 5^th & 6^th best entry. The best two entries will be published in local dailies.
