ESSU felicitates successful HSLC, NPSC candidates at Aghunato

Aghunato: 31 students rewarded with cash citation for securing distinctions in 4 subjects and above

The Eastern Sumi Students’ Union held a felicitation program on 14th July 2023 at Aghunato Town Baptist Church in Zunheboto district, which was graced by Khushito K Awomi, Retd. AIG Prison, Government of Nagaland, ESSU Media Cell said in a press release.

Khushito K Awomi, the special guest, in his speech called upon the students to stay firm in-order to achieve one’s goals and added that in the era of competition he encouraged the students to be dedicated, sincere, disciplined and be God fearing and to march forward towards achieving the highest level of success in their lives.

He stressed that to be a real competitor in life one must maintain three qualities – firstly, one must care for the physical health and not cause any harm on the body; secondly, one must maintain mental health; and thirdly, an aspirants should be spiritually strong and connected with God.

ESSU informed that in the program, 261 students who secured first division in HSSLC and HSLC were felicitated while 31 students were also rewarded with a citation of cash for securing distinctions in 4 subjects and above. ESSU also felicitated successful candidates of NPSC examination.

Ghuvika Yeptho, ESSU President, while congratulating the successful candidates lauded Advisor Ikuto Zhimomi, MLA 34AC for sponsoring the 5th Felicitation Program.

Mughato Kiba spoke on behalf of successful candidates and reminded that God helps those who help themselves and dedicated his success to God. No matter how much we try to get through in life we do not put God in our works, we will not find where we want to be, he said.

The program was attended by Aghunato Area Kukami Hoho, Aghunato Area Totimi Hoho, GBs of Aghunato town, Eastern Sumi Sports Association
