A discharge order issued by the President of the Federal Government of Nagaland General Rtd. T. M Rhakho informed that the Commander in Chief Naga Army has been relieved of his duties following an appeal made on health ground.

“Taking into consideration the appeal of Lieut. Gen. Jackson Pfithu Commander in Chief Naga Army and with the recommendation letter from Reguri village council Chairman to resign on health ground. The Government is impel to accept the resignation of Lieut. Gen. Jackson Pfithu,” stated the order.

Further, the official has been relieved of all assignment and credentials assigned to him by the FGN. “The nation thanks him for his service and wish him speedy recovery,” informed the order.
