Finance Minister distributes token cheque to beneficiaries

Kohima: Union Minister Finance & Corporate Affairs handed over cheques of 11 major schemes of total value Rs 205 crore to 3422 borrowers during the Banker’s Conclave/Credit Outreach Programme at the Capital Cultural Hall, Kohima on 23rd August 2022.

The scheme wise cheques are as follows:

Prime Minister Employment Generation programme (PMEGP):   Free Collateral Security

Sl Parameters Terms
1 Target Group Unemployed youths of rural and urban areas and Traditional artisans etc
2 Purpose To generate employment opportunities in rural and urban areas by setting up of new self-employment ventures.
3 Type of facilities Composite Loan (Working Capital facilities / Term Loan)

PMEGP: No of beneficiaries 134, amounting to a total of 14.19 crores

 

Kisan Credit Card (KCC):   Free Collateral Security

Sl Parameters  Terms
1 Target Group Farmers –individuals / joint borrowers who are cultivators. Self Help Groups (SHGs) or Joint Liability Groups (JLGs) of farmers including tenant farmers, share croppers, etc
2 Purpose Kisan Credit Card Scheme aims at providing adequate and timely credit support from the banking system under a single window with flexible and simplified procedure to the farmers for their cultivation & other needs as indicated below:

To meet the short-term credit requirements for cultivation of crops

Post-harvest expenses Consumption requirement of farmer household Working capital for maintenance of farm assets and activities allied to agriculture like dairy animals.

3 Type of facilities Agricultural Cash Credit

KCC: No of beneficiaries 1418, Loan amounting to a total of 13.54 crores

 

Pradhan Mantri Mudra Yojana (PMMY):   Free Collateral Security

Sl Parameters  Terms
1 Target Group Business Enterprises in Manufacturing, Services Sector and Trading including allied agricultural activities.
2 Purpose Provide funding to non-corporate small business sector to create income employment and generate income.
3 Type of facilities TL/Dropline OD and Cash Credit.

PMMY: No of beneficiaries 551, Loan amounting to a total of 18.81 Crores.

 

Stand Up India (SUI) Scheme:     Free Collateral Security

  Sl Parameters  Terms
1 Target Group ST, SC and Women entrepreneurs
2 Purpose To meet all kinds of credit requirement for setting up Greenfield projects under manufacturing, services or the trading sector.
3 Type of facilities Composite Loan (Working Capital facilities / Term Loan )

 

SUI: No of beneficiaries 11, Loan amounting to a total of 3.40 crores.

Self Help Group (SHG):   Free Collateral Security

Sl Parameters  Terms
1 Target Group SHGs (10-20 members) from weaker sections having a common interest.
2 Purpose The purposes for which the group will lend to the members should be left to the common wisdom of the group.
3 Type of facilities Working Capital facilities / Term Loan based on requirement of the SHG

SHG: No of beneficiaries 193, Loan amounting to a total of 4.80 Cr.

 

PM Street Vendor’s AtmaNirbhar Nidhi (PM SVANidhi):  Free Collateral Security

1 Target Group Street vendors in possession or under the process of registration of Certificate of Vending / Identity Card issued by Urban Local Bodies (ULBs);

Vendors who have gone back to their native places due to COVID-19

2 Type of facilities Working capital (Demand Loan)
3 Quantum of Finance Maximum Rs. 10,000/- (1st Tranche); Rs.20,000 (2nd tranche)

PM Svanidhi: No of beneficiaries 60, Loan amounting to a total of .5 CRORES.

 

PM Formalization of Micro Food Processing Enterprises (PMFME scheme):

1 Objectives The objectives of scheme are to build capability of microenterprises to enable:

Increased access to credit by existing micro food processing entrepreneurs, FPOs, Self Help Groups and Co-operatives;

Integration with organized supply chain by strengthening branding & marketing;

Increased access to common services like common processing facility, laboratories, storage, packaging, marketing and incubation services;

Strengthening of institutions, research and training in the food processing sector; and

Increased access for the enterprises, to professional and technical support.

PMFME: No of beneficiaries 3, Loan amounting to a total of 3.7 Crores.

Retail segment: The retail segment of advances includes various loans products such as personal loans, pension loans, Auto loans, Demand loans and overdrafts on Term deposits etc. Mainly the salaried class is covered under these set of products.

No of beneficiaries 809, Loan amounting to a total of 76.54 Cr.

MSME Loans: All manufacturing, Trade and services activities are financed by us under an wide umbrella of schemes crafted to suit the requirements of different types of businesses depending on their scale of operation, types of activity, etc. The loan limit can be covered under CGTMSE guarantee up to Rs.2.00 Cr.

No of beneficiaries 189, Loan amounting to a total of 55.57 Cr.

Housing Loans: Loans under the Bank’s Home Loan Scheme may be granted to individuals to enable them to

  • purchase a plot of land for purpose of construction of house
  • purchase /construct a new house/flat
  • purchase an existing (old) house / flat or extend an existing house

No of beneficiaries 47, Loan amounting to a total of 17.15 Cr.

 

DAY-NULM:  Free Collateral Security

Sl Parameters  Terms
1 Target Group Financial assistance to individuals/groups including street venders/hawkers of urban poor for setting up gainful self-employment ventures/ micro-enterprises, suited to their skills, training, aptitude and local conditions. The programme also supports Self Help Groups (SHGs) of urban poor to access easy credit from bank and avail interest subsidy on SHG loans.
2 Purpose The underemployed and unemployed urban poor will be encouraged to set up small enterprises relating to manufacturing, service and small business for which there is considerable local demand. Local skills and local crafts should be particularly encouraged
3 Type of facilities Same as Mudra Loans

 

Day- NULM: No of beneficiaries 7, Loan amounting to a total of 1.6 Cr.
