Friends On Wheels Motorcycle Club Nagaland and 9 Assam Rifles Jalukie organize Bike Rally on 76th Republic Day

Friends On Wheels Motorcycle Club Nagaland, in collaboration with 9 Assam Rifles Jalukie, successfully organized the Ride with Pride Vol – III bike rally on the occasion of the 76th Republic Day. The event saw an unprecedented participation of 123 riders from various clubs across Nagaland and Karbi Anglong, making it a historic gathering, informed a press release by the Club. The aim of the rally was to unite all riding clubs under one platform to celebrate the spirit of patriotism and raise awareness on the crucial issue of Say No to Drugs.

The participating clubs Included: EIMI Riders Nagaland, RE Brothers, United Riders MC, United Royal Riders MC, Flying Falcons MC, The C.R.E.W, Eastern Enfieldrs MC, Karbi Anglong, The Tribe, Tribal MC, Solo Riders.

Supported by JCI Dimapur Creator, the rally was graced by the presence of Brig Shiva Kant Shukla, DIG, HQ 6 SECTOR AR, who was the Chief Guest. He was warmly welcomed by Abhijeet Bharadwaj, President of Friends On Wheels and felicitated by Bikram Das, Advisor Friends On Wheels. The rally was officially flagged off at 7:20 AM sharp by Brig Shukla.

The journey began at City Tower, Dimapur, with the riders making their way to 9 Assam Rifles Jalukie, where they were greeted by Assam Rifles Jawans, NCC Cadets, and the public. At Jalukie, the National Flag was unfurled, followed by a welcome speech from Col. Mohit Bansal, Comdt. 9 Assam Rifle. The event also featured a patriotic band performance

Several exciting games were held to engage the riders, including tug of war, slow race, and fittest rider competitions. Prizes were awarded to the winners.

The rally’s core message was to encourage youth to stay away from drugs, emphasizing the numerous opportunities life has to offer. The riders made sure to spread the word of hope and positivity, inspiring the local communities to focus on health, fitness, and well-being, informed the press release.

This event was not only a celebration of the Republic Day but also a powerful statement against the growing drug menace, with a strong call for unity and support within the riding community, stated the press release.
