NEIPDA (GGU) has informed in a press release that the decision to hold the ‘Protest Closure of No Purchase No Sale’ was made during a meeting on Thursday.

The Association is protesting the “non enhancement and/or non revision in the Dealers Commission since the year 2014, other demands and violation of the rights of the Dealer as reflected in the letter addressed to all Oil Companies though the expenses incurred in running the RO has escalated manifold, for which it has become extremely difficult for the Dealers to continue the Trade.”

NEIPDA (GGU) also mentioned that the issue had been taken with the Oil Companies vide its letter dated 03/02/24 but it is yet to receive any response.

The closure of retail outlets will begin from 5:00 am on 30th March and go on till 5:00 am on 1st April 2024.
