IMD predicts heavy to very heavy rainfall on Northeast during next 5 days

New Delhi: Isolated extremely heavy rainfall very likely over Arunachal Pradesh on 29th and 30th June, says IMD

The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) has forecasted “Widespread light to moderate rainfall accompanied with thunderstorm, lightning and isolated heavy to very heavy rainfall likely over Sub-Himalayan West Bengal and Sikkim, Arunachal Pradesh, Assam and Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram and Tripura during next 5 days.”

The Department has also predicted that isolated extremely heavy rainfall is very likely over Arunachal Pradesh on 29th and 30th June and Assam and Meghalaya on 29th June.
