IMD says rainfall/thunderstorm activity in NE likely till 7th April

Kohima: NSDMA suggests Dos and Don’ts during thunderstorm

The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) has said on Tuesday that enhanced rainfall/thunderstorm activity are likely to continue over Northeast India till 7th April 2024. Several areas in the region have been experiencing heavy rainfall and strong wind since last few days. There has been reports of heavy hailstorm in some places causing damages to homes, crops and some injuries.

In view of the weather conditions, the Nagaland State Disaster Management Authority (NSDMA) has today issued advisory on Dos and Don’ts during thunderstorm and lightning.
