An event commemorating the International Nurses’ Day under the theme “Our Nurses. Our Future – Caring for Nurses Strengthens Economies” was held at the Multi-Purpose Hall, School of Nursing IMDH, Mokokchung on May 12.
According to a DIPR report, theme speaker for the programme, principal School of Nursing IMDH, T Temsusenla Aier called upon all the nurses to reaffirm their dedication to the call of the noble profession, maintaining that nurses are the backbone in all health care institutions. She also highlighted on the importance of the nurses mental and physical health and safe walking environment.

MTBA associate pastor women Shilula Imchen exhorted that professions like nursing resembles the closest to “Jesus’ ministry” and emphasized on the vitality of incorporating healing touch therapy as a nurse.
