Jacob Zhimomi urges public leaders to send their children to Govt schools

Minister for PHED & Cooperation, Jacob Zhimomi unveiled the plaque upgrading PM SHRI GMS, Pihekhu to PM SHRI Government High School, Pihekhu at Aghunaqa Area Niuland on June 5.

In his address as the special guest, Jacob mentioned that the purpose of establishing PM SHRI Schools across the country is to make India a global educational hub and urged both the public leaders and department officials to make best use of the opportunity in strengthening the educational institutions in the area.

While reminding the role of the parents, Jacob said our best gift to our children will be installing the real education in them and urged the GBs and Public leaders in the area to send their children in government schools asserting that the best qualified/trained teachers are in government schools.

Zhimomi also discouraged the GBs, Public leaders and School Management Committees (SMCs) in issuing No Objection Certificates (NOC), in regard to teachers preferable posting towards urban and Town areas.

Earlier, Sr SDEO (DEO Charge) Niuland Kitoshi Z Swu, in her short speech thank the Minister and Education Department for their support in upgrading the school which is a significant step towards strengthening education opportunities in the Aghunaqa Area. SDEO also urged teachers to continue guiding the students with dedication and commitment.

The program also witnessed a special song presentation from the students of PM SHRI GHS, Pihekhu. Akukatou Pihekhu Village, Ghoito Awomi, presented a welcome note while Hukato Zhimomi, chaired the program.
