A combined force of 594/A CISF, G/111 BSF, E/11 NAP (IR) and B/D/E Coys of 2 NAP conducted a joint flag march in Mokokchung town today. The Superintendent of Police Mokokchung along with officers and personnel of PS-I, PS-II and W/PS and representatives from the district administration also took part in the flag March.

The flag march was organised to instill confidence among the voters for conduct of a free and fair poll.

The flag march began from Chuchuyimpang Gate till Imkongmeren Sports Complex.

Upon arriving at the Imkongmeren Sports Complex, the Superintendent of Police, Mokokchung, and the Assistant Commissioner urged the armed forces and police personnel to maintain decorum, abide by the law, and emphasized that cooperation and communication between the security forces will be the main tools for the successful conduct of a free and fair poll
