In a concerted effort to strengthen consumer protection and promote lawful business practices, a joint inspection of shops and business establishments across the town was undertaken on August 18, by a coordinated team comprising officials of the District Administration, Dobashis, Atoizu Town Council, and Atoizu Police.

The team scrutinised trade licences, hygiene standards and food products available for sale. The operation led to the seizure of a sizeable quantity of expired food items, which were subsequently destroyed at a designated disposal site to prevent their sale or consumption.
