The Kandi Public Union (KPU) has extended its heartiest congratulations to ShKitenlo K.Thono S/o Khitilo Thono of Ehunnu Village of Kandi Range for winning the Gold medal of Pencak Silat at the National Games Goa.

“Kitenlo Thono is the first in the history of Rengmas to win the most prestigious medal in the National Games,” stated the KPU.

Congratulating all the medals winners from Nagaland for bringing glory to Nagaland, the Union further stated, “The Union salute all the winners especially to Pencak Silat Association of Nagaland and Nagaland Olympic Association under the leadership of Chief Minister of Nagaland, Neiphiu Rio and Secretary General Abu Metha for leading the team to National Games. The Union wishes the winners a bright future,” added the press release issued by John Kath, President and Hethinon Mesen, General Secretary, KPU.
