The Kohima District Table Tennis Association (KDTTA) successfully concluded its free Table Tennis Coaching Camp, held from July 14 to 21 at the Kohima Indoor Table Tennis Stadium, with a total 54 enthusiastic participation of young students from various schools across Kohima district.
The Association expressed appreciation to Imomcha Singh, National Institute of Sports (NIS) Certified Coach, whose dedication, professional expertise, and patient guidance throughout the eight-day coaching camp greatly enriched the learning experience of the participants.
KDTTA expressed gratitude to the Office of the Accountant General (Audit), Nagaland for its generous support in deputing Imomcha Singh to serve as the coach for the programme.
The Association also conveyed its thanks to the Department of Youth Resources & Sports, Government of Nagaland, for generously permitting the free use of the Kohima Indoor Table Tennis Stadium, which provided an excellent venue and environment for the successful conduct of the coaching camp.
KDTTA further acknowledged the generous free-will contributions made by Nagaland Table Tennis Association, parents, senior players, friends, and well-wishers, stating that their voluntary support enabled the Association to provide daily refreshments and lunch to all participants throughout the coaching camp, ensuring that every child enjoyed a comfortable and encouraging learning environment.

It also extended special appreciation to the Association’s senior players, who voluntarily served as assistant coaches during the coaching camp.
The coaching camp concluded with friendly competitions among the participants, providing them an opportunity to showcase the skills and confidence acquired during the week-long training.
The Association congratulated all participants for their enthusiasm, discipline, and sporting spirit, and encourages them to continue practising and pursuing excellence in the sport.
The KDTTA reaffirmed in its commitment to developing table tennis at the grassroots level by providing opportunities for young players to learn, compete, and excel and looked forward to the continued support of government departments, educational institutions, parents, well-wishers, and the sporting fraternity in building a stronger sporting culture and producing future champions for Nagaland.
