The Kohima District Table Tennis Association (KDTTA) will organize a Free Table Tennis coaching camp from July 14 to 21 at the Kohima Indoor Table Tennis Stadium. The Coaching camp is open to students up to Class X (Ten) and would be conducted by a National Institute of Sports (NIS) certified coach, providing participants with excellent opportunity to learn Table Tennis fundamentals and improve their skills under professional guidance.

Interested students may register by contacting KDTTA officials at the stadium during playing hours (up to 7:00 PM) or by contacting Kaka Belho and Raju Chettri at the following numbers: 8131911951 / 8974225573.

Following the coaching camp, KDTTA would organize the Inter-School cum Kohima District Table Tennis Championship on August 14 and 15. Schools interested in participating and KDTTA-registered players have been requested to contact the above officials for registration and further details.

KDTTA further informed that the Kohima District Table Tennis team for the forthcoming Inter-District Table Tennis Championship would be selected based on the players’ performances in both the Inter-School tournament and the Kohima District Championship.

KDTTA encouraged all aspiring young Table Tennis players and schools in the district, including the parents’ support to enable participation in these events and contribute to the promotion of the sport in Kohima and the State in general.
