Khelhoshe Polytechnic Atoizu celebrated its 52nd Freshers’ Day on August 9, 2024, under the theme, “Timeless Elegance: Freshers’ Soiree” at MPH Hall, ΚΡΑ, informed DIPR.
The program was chaired by Anaka V. Sumi, Vice President, KPASU, and began with an invocation by Chingai Konyak, Information Secretary, KPASU and welcome address delivered by Lhouliebeinuo Sanchu President of KPASU, Lhouliebeinuo Sanchu, extending warm greetings to the freshers and attendees.
Dr. Samuel Akho, Extra Assistant Commissioner, Atoizu, was the Guest Speaker for the event. He exhorted everyone, especially the new students, emphasizing that their journey at the polytechnic marks the start of an exciting chapter filled with opportunities. Drawing from his personal experiences of overcoming challenges, he encouraged the students to embrace difficulties as stepping stones to building their future. He stressed the importance of understanding one’s purpose, developing good habits, and building strong relationships.

He also highlighted the significance of hard work, integrity, and faith, offering his support for the students’ academic and career endeavours. Finally, the speaker urged the students to make a positive impact on their community and the world.
Er. Neisekho Chaya, Principal KΡΑ, while speaking at the programme motivated the students to pursue excellence in their studies. Further, representing the freshers, Inapu Chishi delivered a speech that resonated with his fellow new students, expressing their excitement and commitment to making the most of their time at the institution.
Special number was performed by Meziwi and Akoba Sangtam. The program concluded with a vote of thanks from Besungoyi Swuro, Magazine Secretary, KPASU, and a benediction from Prickali Awomi.
