The 6th edition of Sports Meet organised by Khiamniungan Sports Council in collaboration with Beti Bachao Beti Padhao, Noklak District Athletics Association and Noklak District Shooting Sports Association concluded on 19 December 2024. The three-day Sports Meet was conducted under the theme “Elevate your Dream” featuring Athletics, Crossbow Shooting and Air Rifle Shooting at Local Ground, Noklak.

The winners of the Sports Meet will represent the District in the State Level.

The Valedictory Guest of the closing ceremony, Shaying, Additional Deputy Commissioner, in his address stated that for any team to claim a trophy, it is essential to have the right players, effective management and motivation to overcome the limitations of resources and facilities.

The speaker remarked that the KSC team were doing an exceptional job and further expressed confidence that they would continue to excel in the future with their current structure.

Shaying stated that success in professional Sports is not just about skill but also about having the right motivation, adding that true motivation should stem from the love of game. The speaker stated that preparation and hard work always surpass raw talent if talent fails to put in effort.

Chongkoi, President, Khiamniungan Menyiu Hoikam appreciated the KSC for taking initiatives to bring out the best sportsmen and sportswomen in the district and the state. She emphasized the players to have proper time management.

Earlier, the program was chaired by P. Khumo and Sichang, invocation by chaplin, Police Baptist Church, Noklak, special number was presented by Lengnio C, vote of thanks by President, KSC and benediction by Langa, Deacon, LTBC.
