The Deputy Commissioner’s Office in Kohima has alerted citizens of Kohima not to enter or venture near the Firing Range Kohima Garrison from 1st to 31st December 2023.

This office, in its notification to all concerned villages, ward Panchayats, and colonies under Kohima Town, informed that the Assam Rifles will be conducting small arms firing at the Firing Range during this period.

Citizens have further been advised not to allow cattle grazing in the area. The Advisory was issued for everyone’s safety.
