Deputy Commissioner, Kohima, Kumar Ramnikant has advised the general public of Kohima from panic buying of essential commodities and fuel in view of the blockage on the National Highway 29.
The DC assured that there is no such shortage and informed that the “District Administration, Kohima is collaborating with its counterparts of the neighboring districts to ensure that the supply of essential commodities and fuel are in no way affected by continuing the supply through available alternate route (s).”
Meanwhile, the Kohima Police has also urged people “not to resort to panic buying as the alternate routes for supply of essential commodities into the district are still intact.”
