In order to streamline and improve traffic management in Kohima Town during the upcoming Hornbill Festival 2024, the Deputy Commissioner, Kohima, has notified that one-way traffic would be imposed on Middle Midland road i.e. Lower PWD to Phoolbari from 10:00 AM to 04:00 PM, with effect from 29th November 2024 (Friday), for a period of 15 (fifteen) days.

1. During this period, the north bound vehicles coming from Lower PWD towards Phoolbari shall be restricted during the above mentioned time schedule.
2. Only south bound LMVs from Phoolbari towards Lower PWD shall be allowed.

The DC said that the Order is issued in the interest of the public and appealed to the general public to extend cooperation with the authorities for successful implementation.
