Lakshay NGO and Eco Warriors Nagaland lead signature campaign to combat plastic littering

In a proactive step toward a sustainable practices, Lakshay NGO and Eco Warriors conducted a signature campaign yesterday at New Market, Dimapur, urging citizens to stop littering PET bottles and plastics. The initiative emphasized’the importance of reusing and recycling plastics as valuable resources.

The campaign was supported by PACE (Packaging Association for Clean Environment), in collaboration with the Dimapur Municipal Council and the Nagaland Pollution Control Board. A massive Participants signed pledges to commit and be responsible for disposal of PET bottles and plastic by supporting the environmental conservation, highlighting the need for community-driven action to combat plastic pollution.

Lakshay NGO and Eco Warriors thanked the supporting organizations for their backing and called on citizens to adopt sustainable practices to proper disposal of PET bottles and plastic for recycling and reuse.

Later, it is to mentioned that the campaign will be held for 15 days at different locations in Dimapur, they are also inviting local citizens and environment enthusiast to join the campaign.
