The twenty Legislators from the Eastern Nagaland have decided to meet officials from the Ministry of Home Affairs and Union Home Minister Amit Shah in New Delhi. The decision was taken on 13 March 2024 during a closed door meeting held in Kohima.
This move comes at a time when the Eastern Naga Students’ Federation (ENSF) and its Federating Units summoned Rajya Sabha Member of Parliament S Phangnon Konyak and the other twenty Legislators from Eastern Nagaland to Tuensang Headquarter by 12:00 noon of 14th March, which expired today.
Sources informed that the Legislators will be leaving for New Delhi tomorrow. The meeting dates with the Union Home Minister and Ministry of Home Affairs is yet to be confirmed.
