Little Friends Montessori, Tzüsapang Mokokchung held its 6th Graduation Day at the school compound on 29 November.

Hannah Brown, UK (The Imchen Family) was the guest speaker of the occasion.

During a brief address, Brown highlighted the importance of parents in moulding and providing a strong and firm foundation for children which is the need of the hour.

She stated that parents should grip the children’s attention and spend time with their children. She stressed the importance of encouragement for the children and urged the parents to help their children in their communication skills by reading to them.

“Stories are one of the most valuable gifts we can offer to our children,” she said.

Brown also recommended the parents to acquire narrative books for their children so that a firm foundation could be established from an early stage and reading, writing and speaking habits could be incorporated which would thus strengthen the children’s foundation for the future.

Moanungla, MGHSS teacher, expressed gratitude on behalf of the parents to the instructors and also stated that the school’s location is handy for parents, majority of whom are working, as well as for the neighbourhood.

During the occasion, Aienla Tzüdir, the proprietor and teacher of LFM conferred eight students as graduates: Susanna Pongen, Ananu Achumi, Washienla Imsong, Lensanir Mollier, Meyisunep, Jongsen, Tsungchir Imsong and Sunepmoa.
