The Longmatra Town Baptist Lithro which celebrated its golden jubilee starting from May 2-4 concluded successfully under the theme “Khrista Tsü Amüsudi Lung” meaning (Christ: The Cornerstone) .
The grand celebration was graced by leaders under USBLA center as speakers Rev.Y. Imti, Executive Secretary USBLA Mission Center, Yangli, Dr H.Apise Sangtam Secretary USBLA Sub-Center, Kiphire, Rev C.Lima Sangtam Former Executive secretary USBLA, Rev Khingkha Pastor Tsadang Baptist Lithro and Rev. Thsadongse, Pastor Sangtam Baptist Lithro Kohima.
The speakers of the event emphasised on the holistic development of believers making “Christ as the cornerstone” above all things. They applauded and remembered the pioneer of their church that stands today. The dedication and testimony of many who toiled way back in 1975 is marking its golden years of progress for today’s generation.
The Convenor Planning Committee S.J. Levi Keorü expressed his appreciation to all members young and old for their sincere and faithful efforts in making this celebration a grand success.

A feast was followed on the Sunday morning after the devotional service at Public ground Longmatra Town, where all attendees were served with Sangtam Naga delicacy, marking a bond as believers of Christ.
The Jubilee choir was presented by Dimapur Sangtam Baptist Lithro throughout the programme.
The choir conductor expressed her joy and blessings which she believes everyone have experienced by being a part of this grand celebration, she commented “This opportunity doesn’t come to everyone in life, only the fortune and favoured become the witness to the 5 decades or golden years of life and progress”.
Rev. Y. Imtiba, Executive Secretary, USBLA Mission Center Yangli dedicated the memorial stone after invoking blessings through prayer.
The formal jubilee programme witnessed a meaningful and significant opening from Longmatra Town Baptist Lithro (Women ministry) with a magnificent closing ceremony from Longmatra village Baptist Lithro (Youth ministry).
