In continuation of its resolution to combat the drug menace, the Lotha Youth Hoho (LYH) has barred two more individuals from Wokha district for a period of five years for their alleged involvement in drug peddling.

According to the LYH, a joint checking exercise was conducted in collaboration with the Tsumang Youth Organisation and Blue Hill Youth Organisation, during which two individuals identified as Nzanthung and Zuthunglo were allegedly found selling sunflower drugs.

The LYH stated that a discussion was held with the two individuals on June 22, following which they were directed to leave Wokha district.

Reaffirming its commitment to creating a drug-free society, the LYH expressed gratitude to various civil society organisations for their continued cooperation and support in its anti-drug campaign. The organisation also appealed to the public to extend further support by reporting any information related to drug peddling and substance abuse to the Youth Hoho.
