The Lotha Youth Hoho (LYH) convened a consolation meeting on Saturday with its office bearers and suspected individuals involved in drug sales.
During the meeting, it was learned that two individuals, identified as Nyanthung and Edward, were reportedly engaged in drug sales in the district. In line with its resolution, the LYH directed both individuals to leave Wokha district by Tuesday, May 26, for a period of five years.
The LYH reiterated its commitment to continue surprise checks across the district, cautioning that anyone apprehended for drug sales will face similar consequences. It appealed to those involved in such practices to give up these social evils.

Acknowledging the support of civil society organisations (CSOs), the LYH expressed gratitude for their cooperation in the fight against drug abuse and urged them to continue extending support towards eradicating the menace from Wokha district.
