A mass social work will be conducted throughout Niuland District on 5th June 2024 in observance of World Environment Day and as a part of monsoon preparedness, it has been informed. The mass movement will begin from 5:00 am onwards.

All the offices, schools, institutions, villages and colonies under Niuland District have been requested to clean their surroundings/roads. All the land owners adjacent to district road are also informed to clear the jungle on both sides of the road.

The area administrative officers/ head of departments/offices/schools, village and town GBs, Village Council Chairmen have been requested to supervise the social work at their respective jurisdiction.
