Media delegation from Nagaland calls on Governor following PIB press tour to Bihar

A media delegation from Nagaland, comprising seven journalists, led by P Sophie, Head of Office, PIB & CBC, Kohima, along with two officials from PIB, Kohima called on Governor of Nagaland, Nand Kishore Yadav at Lok Bhavan today following their recent media exposure visit to Bihar.

During the interaction, the delegation briefed the Governor on their experiences during the press tour, where they witnessed the rich cultural and historical heritage of Bihar as well as various development initiatives undertaken by the State Government.

Interacting with the visiting media team, the Governor shared his observations on the developmental progress of Bihar and highlighted how sustained efforts, dedicated leadership, and well-planned policies contribute to long-term and sustainable development. He also emphasized the important role of the media in promoting awareness and constructive public discourse.

The Governor appreciated the initiative of PIB Nagaland in organizing such exposure visits for media professionals, stating that such programmes help journalists gain broader perspectives and strengthen inter-state understanding.

The PIB Nagaland media exposure tour to Bihar was conducted from March 16 to March 21, 2026. During the visit, the delegation toured several important places including Patna, Nalanda, Rajgir, and Bodh Gaya, covering heritage, tourism, and development-related sites.
