A meeting on PMDDKY was held on May 11 at DCs’ Conference Hall, Mon under the chairmanship of MP Rajya Sabha, S Phangnon Konyak. The Deputy Commissioner Mon, Wennyei Konyak, NCS welcomed the members and officials present at the meeting.

During the meeting, the departments of Agriculture, Fisheries, Veterinary, Cooperation, Water Resources, District Industries Centre, Land Resources, Rural Development, Employment, and Horticulture presented their annual departmental activities through PowerPoint.

The meeting witnessed thorough deliberation on the implementation of PMDDKY. Phangnon emphasized the need for all concerned departments to work sincerely and maintain close coordination for the successful implementation of the scheme.

The MP further directed all departments to prepare detailed reports and proper justifications on the proposed utilization of funds under the scheme. She also informed that the next meeting, scheduled for next month, will be dedicated exclusively to discussions on PMDDKY.
