Discussion meeting on REFORM UTSAV 2026 for Phek and Meluri districts was held at DC’s Conference Hall, Phek on September 7.
Deputy Commissioner Phek, Rhosietho Ngouri, NCS chaired the program and delivered the opening remark. He also welcomed the Members and officers at the meeting.
Sarita Yadav, IAS, Secretary and AHOD, Higher Education Department & State Nodal officer, Reform Utsav for Phek & Meluri gave the introduction of the program and highlighted on Reform Utsav thoroughly.
She briefed the house about the key component, it’s functions and also key features of Reform Utsav, such as Sensitisation of public in the month of September, then launching of portal on 2nd October 2026 and so on for Reform Utsav. Sarita Yadav also requested both DC Phek and DC Meluri to constitute a District Level Committee by September 2026.

The meeting deliberated on the responsibilities of the officers of all department in both Phek and Meluri districts for sensitization of public with regard to Reform Utsav. In this regard, the DC Phek stated and shared with the officers about community participations as the utmost important of Reform Utsav, since it is for around improvement like that of Viksit Bharat-2047.
Deputy Commissioner, Meluri, Phuleshe K Yepthomi, speaking at the program, requested Heads of Phek District Officers, who are taking care of Meluri district to oversee the subordinate officers posted in Meluri district to guided them properly with regard to Reform Utsav.
Neitsho Wezah, Liaison Officer, Higher Education & Nodal officer (Reform Utsav), and HoDs of Phek and Meluri districts also attended the program.
