In his speech, Yanthung said the people of Pfutsero deserve the new establishment as the area has great potential in Horticulture activities. He stated that it is very fortunate that the Sub-Divisional Horticulture office is created at Pfutsero to serve the people better and also to look into the welfare of the farmers. He hoped that Department will help in the upliftment of the economy. The Advisor said the State Government is giving special focus on agriculture and allied activities to improve the welfare of the farmers and make Nagaland a vibrant economy. He also informed that the Department of Horticulture has established eleven (11) Sub-Divisional Horticulture offices in the State.

Short speeches were shared by Additional Director, Horticulture Department, Y. Bongti Konyak and Convener, Pfutsero Town Welfare Committee, Mezelo Lomi. Welcome address was delivered by DHO Phek, Senkalemba P while vote of thanks was proposed by SDHO Pfutsero officer in-charge HRF, Kelhouzakie Chielie.

The programme was chaired by EAC Pfutsero, Dr. Riku Khutso while the dedicatory prayer was pronounced by Sr. Pastor PTBC, Rev. Dr. Neingupe Chiero.
