In commemoration of the 50 years of Wokha District creation, the Wokha District Golden Jubilee Organizing Committee in collaboration with District Sports Council and Department of Youth Resources and Sports will be organizing a mini marathon and walkathon on December 18 2023. A circular issued by Ajit Kumar Raman, IAS, Deputy Commissioner of Wokha informed that the competition is open to all interested participants.
According to the circular, the Starting point of the event will be Zero point and the finishing point at the Public ground where participants have to cover a distance of five (5) kms. The flag off time is slated at 7:00 AM and the reporting time at 6:30 AM.

The organizers reserve the right to cancel some event/category for any reason. Any dispute related to the results shall be addressed by the committee of judges. Decision taken by the judges shall be deemed as final and binding.
The District Youth Resources Officer Wokha shall be the overall in charge for organizing the events.
