The Mokokchung Municipal Council has informed that it will not be hosting or organising the annual ‘Midnight Service’ on 31st December 2024.

In a press release, the ADC & CEO, MMC, Chumlamo Humstoe notified that the decision was made by the Council in view of the “changing time and growing responsibilities of the municipality” and requested the general public to kindly stand by the decision and render their unfaltering support.

Additionally, the ADC & CEO also stated that the Council would welcome any organisation/Party to initiate/organise/host such event or programme.
