The Office of the Superintendent of Police issued a press release today detailing the apprehension of two people for possession of stolen motorcycles and drugs.

The release states,

“On 06/08/2022 Mokokchung Police personnel apprehend one person namely Kaito Assumi (25 yrs) S/O- Nilo Assumi V/O- Litami (Old) Dist- Zunheboto from Kohima road and recovered two stolen motorcycle (Duke-200 and V15) from his possession.”

In addition, the release also states that the police arrested another co-accused by the name of Mr Neloka Assumi (23 years) – “S/O- Zhekuto Assumi V/O- Litami (Old) Dist- Zunheboto” – who was found to be in possession of 42 capsules of Spasmo Proxyvon, 48 tablets of Alprazolam and 2 ½ bottles of Epikof.

The release goes on to say that a case has been registered at MKG PS-II and the two people were booked “under relevant section of Laws”.
