The Mokokchung Police destroyed assorted illicit Indian Made Foreign Liquor (IMFL) worth ₹70,000,00 at the Municipal dumping site in Mokokchung on 2 December 2024.

Informing this through a press release, the Addl. Superintendent of Police & PRO, Mokokchung, also said that the destroyed IMFL included 12,693 bottles of MC Rum, 1432 bottles of whisky, 1636 Nos of canned beer and 27 bottles of Vodka.

The destruction was conducted as per the Chief Judicial Magistrate Order passed on 27 November 2024 and was carried out in the presence of Superintendent of Police, Destruction Committee Chairman and members along with press and media persons.
