The Mokokchung Police is seeking for information on an unidentified non-local female who was found at Mopongchuket Village on 2nd August 2024 and passed away a day later.

The Addl. Superintendent of Police and PRO, Mokokchung Police informed that the woman was found lying unresponsive at Mangkolong Government Primary School, Mopungchuket Village on 2nd August at around 2:00 pm. However, she passed away at around 3:00 am on 3rd August during medical treatment at IMDH in Mokokchung.

“Her age was between 35 to 40 yrs, height 4.7 ft, fair complexion, curly black hair and wearing a red polka dot dress,” the Police said in its press release.

An Unnatural Death case has been registered at Women Police Station Mokokchung for further investigation, it added.

The Mokokchung Police has said that the deceased’s body is kept at Police Station-I Mokokchung for identification and has requested any claimants, relatives or friends of the deceased, to contact the Officer-In-Charge, Women Police Station, Mokokchung (9402697228).
