Mokokchung: TKM General Conference aims to tap vast potential of Tzurang Valley

Mokokchung: Special Guest on 2nd day encourages students to cultivate discipline, strive for perfection in their endeavours

The 24th Triennial General Conference of the Tzurangkong Students’ Conference (TKM) is currently underway at Watiyim Village, Mokokchung, with over 300 delegates representing eight units. Commencing on 10th January 2024, the conference revolves around the theme “Teperang Tarutsu Nubusen (Radiant Posterity).”

TKM President Imlisunep highlighted that the conference’s focus on sports, seminars, and workshops are designed to enlighten students about diverse career paths. He also said that the conference aims to tap into the vast potential of the Tzurang Valley through sports, competitive examinations, entrepreneurship, and agri & allied sectors.

On 11th January 2024, Supongmeren Hoki, Chairman NEPED, Government of Nagaland, graced the sports event as the Special Guest.

In his address, Hoki stressed that such student conferences serve not only as academic forums but also as opportunities to foster unity, social cohesion, and the pursuit of peace and brotherhood. He encouraged students to cultivate discipline in mind, body, and soul, striving for perfection in their endeavours.
