Union Minister of State of Education, Annapurna Devi visited Tseminyu District on 8th November 2023 where she reviewed central sector and centrally sponsored schemes with the district administration and the various departments in Tseminyu. The meeting was held at the Conference Hall of the Deputy Commisioner’s Office, Tseminyu.

MoS Annapurna Devi also had an interaction with all heads of departments in the district. An interaction was also conducted between the Union Minister and Rengma Hoho, Rengma Selo Zi (Rengma Youth Organisation) and other civil society organisations, non-governmental organisation, Gaon Buras and self help groups.  Ar. Jwenga Seb, MLA & Chairman of Tseminyu District Planning and Development Board (DPDB) gave a brief background of the district.

Later, she visited the Primary Health Centre in Chunlikha and the Government High School in Kandinu.

The Union Minister was accompanied by Dr Kekhrielhoulie Yhome, Advisor of School Education and SCERT, Government of Nagaland and Kevileno Angami, Commissioner & Secretary, School Education and SCERT.

On her arrival to Dimapur Airport, Nagaland, MoS Annapurna Devi was received by Advisor Dr Yhome. She was also received warm welcome from BJP Nagaland.
