S. Supongmeren Jamir, Member of Parliament (Lok Sabha), graced the 23rd Nokhu Range Public Organization General Session cum Hok-Ah 2025 at Langnok Village, Noklak district. The event was held under the theme “Progressive Society”.
In his address, Jamir emphasized the need for a strong political vision, quality education, economic sustainability, and individuals with strong values to create a progressive society. He stressed the importance of maintaining peace and unity as essential for progress and urged the attendees to continue striving harder in all their endeavors. Additionally, he called for fostering admiration and respect among people from all walks of life.
The MP reminded that the Congress did not have a single MLA for the last fifteen years. He also stated that the ENPO had not participated in the last Lok Sabha Election due to certain reasons and issues, however, the Congress party will seek precious votes in the coming Election, the NPCC President asserted.
“We are coming back to the grassroot level and will continue to grow and that will be for our common people,” he said.
Further, stating that even a Naga can represent and participate in the National level, Jamir assured said that he will try his level best to perform honestly.
In his speech, Jamir made notable promises and challenges to the Nokhu Range Public Organization. He pledged a cash prize of ₹50,000 each to successful candidates in the NPSC examinations, particularly for EAC, DSP, and Army service candidates. He also promised to reward ₹20,000 each to the best entrepreneurs and those holding a Master of Theology degree during the years 2026–2027.

Earlier, the program was chaired by P. Lathei and P Khumo, invocation was pronounced by Etha, Pastor, Nokhu Noking Baptist Church, welcome address by Khonglai, Head GB, Langnok Village, presidential address was said by Thaimo, and Folk Fusion was presented by LaLan King Band and benediction by Lenlo, Pastor, Langnok Baptist Church.
