MP Phangnon Konyak, Dy CM Patton greet Ao community on Tsungremmong

Member of Parliament (Rajya Sabha) from Nagaland, S Phangnon Konyak, has extended her warm greetings to the Ao community on the joyous occasion of the Tsungremmong festival.

In her message, the Rajya Sabha MP expressed hope that the festival would strengthen the bonds of togetherness and bring peace, happiness and abundant blessings to all.

Meanwhile, Deputy Chief Minister, Y Patton also conveyed his heartfelt greetings to the Ao community on the auspicious occasion, wishing them a joyful celebration filled with peace, prosperity and abundance.

Patton said Tsungremmong occupies a special place in the cultural heritage of the Ao Nagas. Rooted in the traditions of their forefathers, he noted that the festival marks the completion of arduous agricultural work and is observed as a time of thanksgiving to the Almighty for the promise of a bountiful harvest.

He further prayed that the festival would usher in harmony, goodwill and prosperity for every Ao household and for the people of Nagaland as a whole.
