Commissioner & Secretary, Tourism, Dr Zasekuolie Chusi, IAS inaugurated the Naga CraftScape at Naga Heritage Village, Kisama, Kohima on December 1, organized by the Tribal Weave Nagaland in collaboration with Nagaland Tourism and Department of Art & Culture, where Naga Artisans demonstrate live demo craft. While interacting with the artisans, he conveyed his appreciation and encouraged them to pass on the art to the younger generation too.
The live demo includes Chang Cotton Spinning, Konyak Gunsmithing, Phom Earthern Pottery, Khiamniungan Nettle Weaving, Pochury Awathru (Wind Chime), Chang Kongkin (Jews Harp), Khiamniungan Basketry, Konyak Ornaments and Chang Wood Carving.
