Nagaland Olympic and Paralymic Games 2024: Chümoukedima and Niuland to battle for gold in T20 Cricket

Chümoukedima: In football, Dimapur, Phek, Mon, Niuland, Peren, Kohima, Chümoukedima and Wokha register wins

Chümoukedima and Niuland will play for the gold medal in T20 Cricket at the ongoing Nagaland Olympic and Paralympic Games (NOPG) 2024. The final match will take place at Sovima Cricket Ground on 12th February (Monday) at 12:00 noon.

Dimapur and Mon will play for the third place at Sovima Cricket Ground on Monday at 08:30 am.

In the first Semi-Final, Niuland won by 85 runs against Dimapur.

Niuland: 180/3

Dimapur: 95/10

In the second Semi-Final, Chümoukedima won by 9 wickets after easily beating Mon

Chümoukedima: 47/1

Mon: 46/10

Meanwhile in football, Dimapur, Phek, Mon, Niuland, Peren, Kohima, Chümoukedima and Wokha registered wins on the third day of NOPG 2024.

The Nagaland Olympic Association (NOA) had earlier on 9th February, unveiled the highly anticipated Nagaland Olympic and Paralymic Games 2024 (NOPG 2024) trophy in a program graced by Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio.

The list of trophies includes Team Championship Winner, Team Championship 1st runner up, Team Championship 2nd runner up, Outstanding Sportsmen, Outstanding Sportswomen, Olympic Fair Play Trophy, Spirit of Olympic Award.
