The Nagaland Olympic Association (NOA) has announced that the Nagaland Olympic and Paralympic Games 2024 has been rescheduled to February 12-17, 2024.
The decision was made after the association held a consultative meeting with the affiliated sports associations and stakeholders on November 25 at the Talimeren Conference Hall in the official Headquarters of Nagaland Olympic Association, Kohima. The meeting deliberated on the upcoming Sports events and the calendar of the sports associations. Having considered the inputs from all the members and in view of the various sports meets, the festival period and the inputs of the host city, the event was rescheduled.
A press release issued by Abu Metha, Secretary General, NOA has also notified that the Cricket (Men’s T20) will be included in the Nagaland Olympic & Paralympic Games 2024. “This decision has been taken in consultation with the Nagaland Cricket Association and in view of the International Olympic Committee’s decision to make Cricket an Olympic Sport,” informed Metha.
The registration of players will start from January 10- 17 2024. “Kindly note that once players are registered there will be no change of names,” reminded the NOA.

All Sports Associations of the participating disciplines has been requested to submit their competition manuals along with the list of organizing committee members (name and phone number) to the NOA office on or before December 12, 2023.The Games Organization Committee will provide accommodation, local transport, food and technical competition arrangements in the host city. Detailed information about arrival and departure will be communicated separately, informed the NOA.
