The Food and Civil Supplies Department, Government of Nagaland, has issued a corrigendum revising Clause 1(C) of its notification dated December 3, 2025, concerning the modalities for implementing the General Household (GHH) Scheme under the Tide-Over Scheme.

According to the corrigendum issued from Kohima on September 29, 2026, the revised provision states that “Distribution of food grains shall be undertaken through the existing Fair Price Shops (FPSs), both in urban and rural areas, across the State.”

The Department stated that the revision followed a reconsideration of the earlier provision, with the objective of improving accessibility for eligible beneficiaries and facilitating the efficient and equitable distribution of food grains under the GHH Scheme.

It clarified that all other terms and conditions specified in the earlier notification would remain unchanged.
