With the Nagaland State Assembly election due in a few weeks’ time, six candidates filed their nominations on February 4.
N Jacob Zhimomi (BJP) under 4-Ghaspani-1 Assembly Constituency (AC) filed his nomination today at the DC Office in Chümoukedima accompanied by Assam Chief Minster, Himanta Biswa Sarma and BJP national spokesperson, Nalin Kohli.
Salhoutuonuo Kruse, one of the woman candidates in the fray with an NDPP ticket, filed her nomination from 8-Western Angami AC. In 12-Tseminyu AC, Joel Naga filed his nomination as a Rising People’s Party (RPP) candidate with Gwalozu Kath as a standby.
Another NDPP candidate, Y Vikheho Swu filed his nomination from 13-Pughoboto AC, while Dr. Neisatuo Mero, an independent candidate, filed under 16-Pfutsero AC.
