The Northern Angami Students’ Union (NASU) has strongly condemned the physical assault upon the President of Angami Students’ Union, on August 9 by the 13th Assam Rifle Jawan(s), at Kohima, D.Block.
“The NASU unequivocally denounce this barbaric act of harassment and use of violence means against a responsible leader, such inhuman act is a direct threat to the entire community, and have no place in our society as it undermines the unity and integrity of the nation,” stated the press release issued by President Atouzo Kerhüo and General Secretary Ketholezo Keyho.

The Union affirmed its solidarity with ASU in all course of action against the incident, and also stated that it will continue to protect and support the citizens against any such forms of threats and harassment.
