On account of National Dengue Day on 16th May 2024, the Deputy Commissioner, Mokokchung, Thsuvisie Phoji has informed to all concerned households under Mokokchung district to observe “Dry Day” every week.

The DC informed that on this “Dry Day”, cleanliness drive will be conducted for cleaning the surroundings and draining away unwanted stored water in flower pots, water cans, discarded containers, tyres and gutters, drainage of water in stagnant areas, etc. to eliminate mosquito breeding sites so as to prevent and control dengue.
