The Nagaland Contractors and Suppliers’ Union (NCSU) Tseminyu district unit office was inaugurated on Friday by NCSU president Pele Khezhie in the presence of president Rengma Hoho Tesinlo Semy.
Khezhie congratulated the Tseminyu district unit for establishment of the its office in the heart of the town. He urged upon the members to be proactive in the field of professional building, especially the newly created district of Tseminyu. The president also encouraged the members to fight against table tenders which violate the government’s standing order that all contracts and supplies works should be in open tender, in order to maintain transparency and accountability of the state.
Khezhie further informed that NCSU is the only organization to cover all the districts in Nagaland, and till date the union have more than 5000 registered members out of which more than 2000 members are class-1 contractors.
He also assured to fight for all-round development in all the newly upgraded districts including Tseminyu and find out ways to help local qualified contractors. He appealed to members to give full cooperation so that together they could continue to fight for justice and equal opportunity for all local members.

Highlighting about the preparation of 50 years celebration of NCSU which will be held during the last part of this year 2025, Khezhie implored upon all to celebrate together.
President Rengma Hoho Tesinlo Semy, who is also the advisor of union encouraged the members to be steadfast for upliftment of Tseminyu district which is far behind to catch up with others.
The inaugural program was chaired by NCSU Tseminyu unit general secretary Aba Khing while president MS Khing delivered the welcome address. Tseminyu Town Baptist Church pastor Yhunthonlo Khing pronounced the dedicatory prayers. The program was attended by various dignitaries including chairperson Tseminyu Town Council Ruth Rengma, Asao Seb SDEO, Rengma Youth Organization and elders.
