NDPP’s candidate Küdecho Khamo wins 18 Chozuba A/C seat

Kohima: Reacting to his win, Khamo acknowledged God for his blessings and to the electorates of 18 AC

Two times candidate Küdecho Khamo defeated a three-time seating MLA Chotisuh Sazo, LJP candidate by 2238 votes of the 18th Chozuba assembly constituency seat under Phek district.

A veteran politician and former NPF MLA, Sazo was denied NDPP ticket this election and he contested as LJP candidate.

While Khamo was given the NDPP ticket for the second time. Both Khamo and Sazo hails from Phusachodu Village under Phek district.

Out of 22794 vote cast in 18 A/C, Küdecho Khamo got 9485 votes, while Chotisuh Sazo got only 7247 defeating the seating MLA by a huge margin.

Reacting to his win, Khamo acknowledged God for his blessings and to the electorates of 18 AC for giving him their precious mandate and entrusting him with the new role.

He also expressed profound gratitude to the Chief Minister, Neiphiu Rio, NDPP president, Chingwang Konyak for reposing their faith and blessing upon him to the 14th house of the Nagaland Legislative Assembly.

As he embarks on a new journey, he asked the constituency people to work together hand in hand as to uplift the living standards of the constituency.

He also dedicated the victory to team NDPP 2023, unit office bearers at grassroot level and all the party men.
